Checker Flag Leasing introduces new v.p. and general manager

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Checker Flag Leasing (CFL) has appointed James Blake as its new vice-president and general manager.

Blake has been in the trucking and logistics industry for more than 20 years with experience in leadership roles in sales, service and operations.

Before joining the Checker Flag Leasing team, Blake was the director of business development and operations for Trans4Logistics.

“James is a well-respected and highly skilled industry professional who had many years of success in driving company growth,” said John O’Dwyer, president for CFL. “He has worked for some of the largest trucking and logistics companies in Canada, where he has established a proven track record as a highly competitive and effective sales leader. We are pleased e has joined CFL as we pursue our own expansion efforts.”
