MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — On July 21, the Toronto Area Council of the CITT held its sixth annual golf tournament at Braeben Golf Course in Mississauga.

The golf tournament raises funds for Threads of Life, a Canadian charity that helps families after a workplace fatality or serious injury. In total this year, the event raised a total of $5000.

“For the second year running this event had over 90 golfers and were able to donate $5000 to the Threads of Life Charity,” said Tom Pauls, CCLP, chairman of the CITT Toronto Area Council. The golf tournament also supports the CITT TAC bursary fund which in its fourth year offers financial support for CITT courses for those individuals who are not supported by an employer. I’d like to thank all the sponsors who continue to support this every year and especially thank you to the participants.”
