Dana’s Spicer driveshafts available on Freightliner trucks

TOLEDO, Ohio — Dana Corporations Spicer driveshaft assemblies are now available on Freightliners North American commercial vehicles.

Spicer Life Series and Spicer 10 Series medium- and heavy-duty driveshafts are available as standard equipment at Western Star Trucks, Freightliner Custom Chassis, and Thomas Built Buses, and are offered as a published option on Freightliner and Sterling branded medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

Spicer driveshafts are available as a published option in Freightliner and Sterling April 2007 data books and are standard in the April 2007 Western Star data book. Spicer 10 Series and Spicer Life Series driveshafts will be assembled in Danas North American driveshaft plants for Freightliner LLCs facilities in Portland, Ore.; Cleveland, High Point, and Mount Holly, N.C.; Gaffney, S.C.; St. Thomas, Ont.; and Santiago, Mexico.
