GALESBURG, Mich. — Eaton has named John Beering as the new senior vice-president and general manager of its commercial vehicle transmission business.

Beering assumes his new position Jan. 1. He most recently served as vice-president and general manager of Eaton’s global vehicle group aftermarket and clutch business.

“John’s success in key roles at Eaton along with his extensive experience in the commercial vehicle market makes him the ideal person to lead our Commercial Vehicle Transmission business,” said Tim Sinden, president, North America truck operations. “We are pleased to have John’s talent and enthusiasm as we continue to grow in this important segment of our business.”
