EDMONTON, Alta. — Edmonton Kenworth was named Kenworth’s Canadian Dealer of the Year at Kenworth Truck Company’s annual dealer meeting in Tucson, Ariz.

“It’s a great honor for our dealership and our employees to be selected as Dealer of the Year,” says Gary King, president of Edmonton Kenworth. “My father, Mike King, has been with Edmonton Kenworth as manager or dealer
principal since 1957 and this award reflects our long tradition of dedication and service to our customers.”

The Canadian Dealer of the Year award recognizes the top-performing Kenworth dealership that has excelled in many areas, including customer service, training, management and sales operations. The award is based on Kenworth’s extensive Dealer Excellence Standards.

Edmonton Kenworth is a major supplier of truck equipment, parts and service to the oilfield, logging, and highway markets in the Edmonton region and northern Alberta. King noted that customer support is especially key in today’s market environment.
