ENVIRONMENT CANADA TO HOLD EMISSION TALKS MARCH 26 – 27

WINDSOR, Ont. – Environment Canada, in cooperation with the Canadian Trucking Alliance, will be holding a two-day conference on emissions March 26 – 27 in Windsor, Ont.

Called the On-Road Heavy-Duty Vehicle Emissions Conference, it breaks down into six sessions. The topics are titled: Setting the Stage; I&M Harmonization; I&M Program Experience; HDV I&M Challenges; Testing Technologies/Procedures; and The Future of HDV I&M – Panel Discussion.

Scheduled to make presentations during the conference are several people from Environment Canada; Dale McKinnon of the Manufacturers of Emissions Control Association; Leif Peterson of Detroit Diesel of Canada; and David Bradley, chief executive officer of the Canadian Trucking Alliance.
