Transportation and logistics companies shine on 2015 Profit 500 list

TORONTO, Ont.  –A total of 28 transportation and logistics firms were recognized today by Canadian Business and Profit, which unveiled its annual Profit 500 list which ranks Canada’s fastest growing companies.

The ranking is published in the October issue of Canadian Business and PROFITguide.com. The list ranks Canadian businesses by their five-year revenue growth.

According to PROFITguide.com, the transport companies on this year’s ranking grew their revenues by an average of 345% from 2009 to 2014, which in turn created more than 2,000 full-time equivalent jobs during that period. The list claims that collectively, the 28 transportation companies helped employ 2,616 full-time and 136 part-time employees in 2014.
