SAVANNAH, Ga. — Great Dane has named Jon Jeffries its new vice-president and general sales manager.

Jeffries will head the company’s sales functions, including dealer and branch sales, national accounts, flatbed sales, the used trailer market and sales administration, Great Dane announced.

Jeffries has 25 years’ experience in the industry and comes returns to Great Dane from Hendrickson Trailer Commercial Vehicle Systems, where he spent his last 14 years.

“Jon has a tremendous amount of customer knowledge and well-rounded industry experience, and is ideally suited to lead our company’s sales team,” said Great Dane executive vice-president, Dean Engelage. “I’m excited to have him join our already solid sales organization.”

Great Dane also announced it is realigning its branch system to better serve the needs of the aftermarket. David Gilliland continues to head the sales function as vice-president, branch sales. And Dave Durand has been named vice-president, aftermarket. Durand brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his new position, the company announced.

“With his solid background and proven performance at Great Dane, I am confident that Dave can leverage his experience and past success in his new position, and make Great Dane’s aftermarket operations the best in the industry,” said Engelage.
