CASS LAKE, Minn. — America’s most famous Christmas tree is en-route to the US Capitol aboard a flatdeck trailer pulled by a Kenworth T880.

The tree began its journey this week and will make more than 30 stops along the way before eventually arriving a the US Capitol Building in early December.

The tree is a 75-ft. white spruce from Chippewa National Forest. A Kenworth T680 will transport 70 smaller trees, which will be used to decorate the inside of the US Capitol building and other federal sites around Washington, D.C.

A complete tour schedule can be found at www.capitolchristmastree.com.
