Mack offering extended warranty coverage on E7 engines

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Mack has launched a new engine overhaul program for owners of Mack E7 engines, offering extended warranty coverage of up to three years or 350,000 miles.

“Mack’s trucks are known for reliability and durability, and our customers hold on to their trucks a long time,” said John Taaffe, Mack director of aftermarket marketing. “Revitalizing the engine is a logical solution. The Mack Purebred Overhaul program offers a range of options to help maximize vehicle uptime.”

The Mack Purebred Overhaul program offers four packages:
• Basic – Contains all Mack Genuine parts, filters and fluids needed for an in-frame engine overhaul.
• Plus – Basic package, plus ReMack cylinder heads.
• Premium – Plus package, plus Mack Genuine turbo and injector set and extended warranty at no cost.
• ReMack Engine – Combines a remanufactured three-quarter engine, Mack Genuine turbo and set of six injectors, filters and fluids, plus extended warranty at no cost.
