GUELPH, Ont. — MacKinnon Transport has announced the acquisition of a 50,000-sq.-ft. building located here at 829 Southgate Drive.

The new facility is located less than one block away from the fleet’s existing, 45,000-sq.-ft. terminal in Guelph, just off the 401 corridor.

The company says that during its annual review of the strategic direction, performed by the senior management team, it was determined that the time was right for a certain amount of expansion.

The new facility will be used to compliment the fleet’s current line of truckload services into the warehousing, logistics and less than load markets.
