BRAMPTON, Ont. — Be Afraid, an anthology of young adult horror stories edited by Edo van Belkom, has been selected as an “Our Choice” title by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre in Toronto.

Our Choice is the Canadian Children’s Book Centre’s annual guide to the best new Canadian children’s books, magazines, audio recordings, videos and CD-ROMs. Titles submitted are evaluated by independent selection committees comprised of children’s literature professionals, including librarians, booksellers, educators, and consultants.

Van Belkom has made a name for himself among the trucking community as the author of Mark Dalton: Owner/Operator, a fictional serial appearing exclusively in Truck News/Truck West.
