Meritor names new director of remanufacturing

FLORENCE, Ky. – Meritor announced today, that Tim Bauer is the new director of remanufacturing, North America.

He will be responsible for the overall leadership, and profitability of Meritor’s remanufacturing activities in North America.

“Tim’s deep understanding of Meritor’s customers, competitors and the value of extending the life of a part through remanufacturing will build Meritor’s leadership in this crucial part of our business,” said Rick Fulks, senior director, aftermarket operations for Meritor. “Tim’s two decades of involvement in Meritor’s remanufacturing sales, marketing and operations will be key to furthering our industry leadership in this important part of the aftermarket.”

Bauer has been with the company for 27 years and was most recently its director of global undercarriage products.

“We’re a leader in the remanufacturing business and strive for excellence so we can offer replacement parts that are rebuilt in line with OE standards and know-how,” Bauer said. “Meritor firmly believes in the value remanufacturing brings to our industry.”
