New president at Alcoa Wheel and Forged Products

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Alcoa Wheel and Forged Products (AWFP), a business unit of Alcoa Inc., has welcomed Mario Longhi to the role of president.

Longhi was previously vice-president and general manager of Alcoa Wheel Products and was responsible for worldwide manufacturing, sales and marketing.

He joined Alcoa in 1983 as a refinery construction supervisor at the Alumar plant in Brazil. Since then, he has served in a variety of leadership positions within the corporation.

Longhi replaced William Christopher who has been named executive vice-president for Alcoa Business System.
