Nipigon River Bridge to re-open to two lanes on Thursday

by Truck News

NIPIGON, Ont. — According to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, the Nipigon River Bridge is set to re-open to two lanes on Thursday, February 25 at 10 a.m.

The ministry reminds those travelling that route to slow own and follow traffic signs as the bridge is still a construction zone.

The Nipigon Bridge split in mid-January after extremely cold temperatures caused the bolts on one side of the bridge to snap, which lifted the structure close to 60 cm.
