GREEN LAKE, Sask. — Road crews are preparing to resurface a 16.2-kilometre portion of Hwy. 155 just north of this northern Saskatchewan town this week.

The improvements come as a resurfacing project on the same highway is wrapping up.

“Road work is anticipated to begin on this $2.3 million surfacing project this week and should be completed in early July,” Highways and Transportation Minister Pat Atkinson said. “Completion of this job will require an estimated 31 full time workers.”

The work, which includes applying a double-seal coat, will begin 41 kilometres north of the highway’s junction with Hwy. 55.
