CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Road conditions for Prince Edward Island are now available online at the province’s Web site.

Visitors to www.gov.pe.ca can click on a table indicating the province’s major highways, or else click on a map of the area they need to run through.

Twenty nine stretches of road from across the province are highlighted on the table. Each section is given a different, colour-coded designation, depending on conditions which can range from clear to closed.

Although the site is updated regularly, officials advise road users to telephone the center for the freshest information.
