PEACE BRIDGE PROTEST
FORT ERIE, Ont. — Traffic on the Peace Bridge was brought to a standstill yesterday, as protestors blocked Canada-bound traffic for three hours.
About 120 members of the Buffalo Action Network, and a smaller group from Canada, were protesting the Summit of the America’s conference in Quebec City, Que.
The result was an intense standoff between Buffalo, N.Y. police and the protestors, which brought traffic to a halt and created huge backups.
