TORONTO, Ont. – Pegasus Logistics held its official Canada market launch last night with a reception in the trendy downtown Roof Salon at the Park Hyatt hotel.

Based in Dallas, TX, Pegasus Logistics Group specializes in time-definite transportation services.  Toronto is the company’s first international branch office.

As guests munched on cocktails and enjoyed a rooftop view of Toronto, Bill Oliver, vice president Canada and Paula Coward, director business development, Canada, circulated around the well-attended event explaining the reasons for Pegasus’ move into Canada and its progress so far in getting the non-asset 3PL providing service across Canada.

Oliver said Pegasus made the move into Canada in part because its existing clients were looking for the same suite of services and level of support in Canada. Pegasus specializes in customized solutions in transportation and warehousing backed up by proprietary and customer-centric technology.

The company has already handled some sophisticated moves out of Canada for the Vatican and an antiques dealer.

Oliver added the Canadian operation is still searching for additions to its Canadian staff and working on relationships with service providers.
