PeopleNet symposium to tackle major challenges of trucking industry

BURLINGTON, Ont. — PeopleNet Canada has announced their annual symposium will tackle the industry’s toughest issues.

Scheduled is a carrier roundtable, moderated by Geoff Wood, vice-president of operations and safety for the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA). The roundtable will address challenges like the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association’s new electric log device proposal and how fleet telematics is changing the insurance world.

PeopleNet presenters will also talk about the benefits of its Tailored Solutions and Professional Services groups.

The symposium is being held April 29-30 at Queen’s Landing Resort, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., and registration is now open at http://transportationsymposium.ca/.
