DENTON, Tex. — A new in-dash, GPS-navigation system now available for Peterbilt’s Model 387 makes routing trips as simple as pressing a few buttons, the company says.

The Alpine DVD Vehicle Navigation System provides drivers with turn-by-turn visual and audio directions as they travel toward their destination, precisely tracking the vehicle’s location and speed to help ensure exits and turns are never missed, and deadlines are always met.

“The new navigation system allows our customers to enter a street address or phone number and receive detailed, step-by-step directions for getting there,” says Peterbilt assistant general manager Dan Sobic. “Not only will this increase efficiency and productivity, but it also provides drivers with added peace-of-mind knowing the system will help them get to their destination without getting lost.”
