KING CITY, Ont. — The snazziest Canadian fleets were celebrated at the Private Motor Truck Council’s annual convention this week.

The PMTC-3M Vehicle Graphic Design Awards highlight the most eye-catching truck and trailer graphics. The competition is open to private and for-hire fleets across Canada.

This year marks the 28th year of the competition.

“For 28 years 3M Canada has been an integral part of the vehicle graphics design awards, and the competition is truly a national event,” said PMTC president Bruce Richards. “The large number of entries confirms the interest that companies have in promoting their products and services through illustrative graphics. Our thanks to all the participants and in particular to 3M Canada who make this annual event possible.”

This year’s winners were (category-fleet-film provider-graphics house): Tractor-Trailer, Saputo, 3M, National Graphic Solutions; Straight Truck, Chenail, 3M, Toronto Digital Imaging; Special Events/Promotion, Stihl, 3M, Artcal Graphics; Light-Duty Commercial Truck, Cheetah Power Surge, 3M, Toronto Digital Imaging; Identity Fleet Graphics, Labatt Breweries, 3M, Toronto Digital Imaging; and Human Interest, Scotlynn Commodities, 3M, Advantage Vinyl and Design.
