ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Polar Corp. has announced it has purchased the assets of Beall Transport Equipment, the aftermarket parts and service division of Beall Corp.

Most of the company’s facilities will be added Polar Service Centers’ national network of parts and service locations, Polar announced.

“With stable financial footing, these former Beall branches will have more flexibility to deliver the high-quality service that Beall customers have come to appreciate over the years,” said Ted Fick, president and CEO of Polar Corporation. “Meanwhile, Polar customers will benefit from the high level of competency and experience of Beall technicians. Their expertise is exceptional within the commercial tank industry and we’re excited to bring them into the Polar family.”

The deal closed Feb. 1. Financial terms were not disclosed. Beall had been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since September 2012.
