BROCKVILLE, Ont. — Several Quebec drivers are facing possible charges, but up to 30 got little more than a warning after a westbound convoy of cars was observed speeding on Hwy. 401 near Brockville.

Grenville County OPP officer George Duke managed to get a couple of vehicles, all bearing Quebec plates, to pull over near the Sherwood Springs Road overpass.

Police located farther westbound observed the vehicles had slowed down to the speed limit, but officers still pulled them over and issued warnings.

“It appears they’re part of a group on a car rally to Toronto,” says Sgt. Kevin Prentice of the Perth communications centre of the OPP.
