CINCINNATI, Ohio — RACO Industries has announced its TR101 L-Biz Tracker, a key component of its PowerLOC turnkey wireless location system, is now operational.

This catapults RACO into the mobile asset tracking market, in addition to their historic focus on the bar coding and data collection industry, the company insists.

The Tracker is an Location Services Provider (LSP) server offering mapping, wireless network access and Internet connectivity.

“With more than 18,000 clients and value-added resellers nationwide, and with a solid automotive aftermarket network, the ability to provide the PowerLOC L-Biz tracking systems products and services is a strong addition to our business model,” commented Rob Adams, CEO of RACO. “This opportunity with Paradigm adds a strategic component to our marketing, helping us develop new business prospects and capitalize on the rapidly expanding asset-location space.”

Adams estimates that over the next year to eighteen months RACO will sell fifty thousand units at between US$399.00 and $549.00, and monthly monitoring rate plans begin at $15.95.
