REDECKING OF JACQUES CARTIER BRIDGE STARTS

MONTREAL, Que. — Redecking of Montreal’s Jacques Carter Bridge will start on May 11 at 10 p.m. and will be completed by the end of October.

The bridge will be closed to traffic Monday to Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to5:30 a.m. and on Fridays from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

On weekends, the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Saturdays from 7 a.m. to Sunday 8:30 p.m.

The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Inc. says occasionally the bridge will be closed Sunday nights.

The construction work was first announced last winter.
