REGINA, Sask. — Regina’s ring road will be improved this week, as portions are currently being cold milled and resurfaced by the Department of Highways and Transportation.

The $200,000 project will affect sections of Hwy. 1 from Victoria Avenue, to just east of the Hwy. 6 interchange.

The off-ramp from Hwy. 1 to Albert Street is also being repaved.

“The Ring Road is a busy section of highway,” says Highways and Transportation Minister, Pat Atkinson. “It’s important to keep this section in good condition for safety reasons and to make a good first impression for visitors coming to Regina.”
