Registration now open for Women with Drive Summit

OTTAWA, Ont. —  Registration for Trucking HR Canada’s 2017 Women with Drive Leadership Summit has officially opened. 

The third annual event will be held March 2, 2017, and hosted at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre. The event will kick off with an opening networking reception on the night of March 1. 

“We continue to build on the learning and networking opportunities our summit has become known to offer,” said Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. “With women accounting for 48% of Canada’s labor force, the recruitment and retention of more women in trucking is a business issue fleets cannot overlook.” 

The day will include panel discussions will include a focus on leadership, offering insights from females in the industry that are thriving in their roles; the sharing of innovative recruitment and retention strategies being implemented by fleets across the country; and, an exciting, global panel bringing perspectives from leading women, drivers and other trailblazers from Australia, Sweden, New Zealand and England.
