CABRI, Sask. — Hwy. 32 west of Cabri will be able to handle heavier truckloads after the resurfacing of a 6.5 kilometre stretch is completed.

The project, which gets under way this week, requires 31 full-time workers and is expected to wrap up in late August. Venture Construction is in charge of getting the job done on this resurfacing project.

“As with many highways in the province, Highway 32 has seen an increase in truck traffic, leading to deterioration,” Atkinson says. “By strengthening and surfacing this section, Highway 32 near Cabri will be able to handle heavier traffic loads.”
