BRAMPTON, Ont. — The Road Today Truck Show is back for its fifth instalment this weekend with a change of venue. The show will be held at the Soccer Centre (1495 Sandalwood Parkway E at Dixie/Sandalwood) in Brampton May 25-26.

The event, organized by Road Today Media Group, is free to attend and will include an indoor trade show, job fair, outdoor display, road safety awareness including driver simulator, kids and family entertainment, giveaways, and prizes. Smart Trucker Seminars will run both days covering topics like SCR/DEF/DPF technology, Hours-of-Service, eManifest and others.

“The show is an ideal opportunity to meet face-to-face with about 100 exhibitors from truck and trailer dealers, trucking carriers, suppliers and service providers covering all aspects of the industry,” show organizers said in a release. “Recruiting of drivers and owner/operators will be in full swing as Canada’s leading trucking companies will be on site to share available opportunities. To create road safety awareness, a ‘driving simulator’ will be on-site where drivers can experience firsthand – without putting their lives on the line – what can happen when driving while distracted.”

Show times are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 25 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 26. Entry and parking are both free. For more information, visit www.roadtodaytruckshow.com.
