Saskatchewan names provincial driving champs

REGINA, Sask. — The Saskatchewan Professional Drivers’ Safety Council recently handed out the hardware for this year’s provincial driving championships.

Grand Champion Awards were presented to R & G Transport with top driving honors captured by Joe Sydow, who garnered 464 total points.

Other winners included, Keith Parker, of Purolator Courier, in Step Van; Larry Radons, of Reimer Express Lines, in Straight Truck; Joe Sydow, of Kindersley Transport, in Single-Single; Harvey Gording, of Reimer Express Lines, in Single-Tandem; Les Bueckert, of Earl Beebe Trucking, in Tandem-Tandem; and Bob Granger, of SLH Transport, in Train.
