CORNWALL, Ont. — Seaway Express has recently opened its new distribution warehouse at 605 Boundary Road in the City of Cornwall’s industrial park.

The 32,000 sq.-ft. facility will further enhance the fleet’s overnight transportation service between eastern Ontario and Quebec, the company says. Beginning as a one-truck operation in 1990, Seaway has since grown to more than 35 power units.

“With this new facility all operations will now be housed under one roof to increase efficiency,” says Bob Gauthier, Seaway Express president.

He also points to a recent score of 97 per cent achieved by the fleet during a facility audit conducted by the Ministry of Transportation.

“This designation is a result of a team effort by our employees and we make every effort to maintain such a level of excellence,” concludes Gauthier.
