MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Shaw Tracking has launched its Media Manager app, which can deliver multimedia content – including PDFs, audio and video – to drivers.

Shaw Tracking says the document management service allows the back office to stay in touch with drivers, and can allow them to send special instructions, such as detailed property maps or special handling instructions, “with ease.” Shaw notes that the app could also be used to send critical documents via PDF to drivers crossing international borders “with minimal or no interruption to their trip plan.” Shaw officials say Media Manager could also be used to help improve driver behaviour by sending training videos directly to their devices.
