VANCOUVER, B.C. – Construction on Vancouver’s mass-transit system SkyTrain is underway at Brentwood Station, and truckers can expect some delays in the area over the next six weeks.

The westbound Lougheed Hwy. will be closed between Alpha Avenue and Willingdon Ave. between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. until Apr. 31.

There will be eastbound closures of Lougheed Hwy. between Willingdon Ave. and Alpha Ave. between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Apr. 16, to May 4. There will, however, be one lane open in each direction at all times.

There is also a vehicle height restriction of 4.6 metres in effect, while work continues on the mezzanine level.
