REGINA, Sask. — SLH drivers put on a show at their own terminal June 6, as hosts of the Saskatchewan Provincial Truck Driving Championships.

The company’s drivers took top honours in the B-Train, straight truck and single-single categories and also laid claim to the Grand Champion.

Keith Atherton took that honour. Rookie of the Year was Derek Ferrell of Q-Line Trucking and Sergi Linkevych of Bison Transport won the Joe Laurin Memorial Award.

Other winners included: Atherton, SLH, B-Train; George Brown, SLH, straight truck; Brian Weslowski, SLH, single-single; Stephen Schwenker, Q-Line Trucking, tandem-tandem; and Gord Procyk, Jay’s Transportation Group, single-tandem.

The winners of each category will represent Saskatchewan in the National championships in their home province on Sept. 12.
