GREENVILLE, S.C. — SmartTruck Systems has named a new Canadian business development manager.

John Manchulenko will represent the brand in Canada, allowing the company to serve dealers directly in the Canadian market, SmartTruck announced. It recently split ways with former Canadian distributor, Northern Aerodynamic Systems DBA Smart Truck Canada.

SmartTruck builds aerodynamic undertray systems for trailers.

Manchulenko has been in the trucking industry for more than 20 years and has existing dealer relationships, SmartTruck announced.

“John recognizes the importance of the Canadian trucking market to our company and the industry in general,” said Steve Ingham, chief executive officer for SmartTruck. “He is committed to providing quality service to our dealers, and we are very fortunate to have him join our team.”

In addition to its undertray device, SmartTruck now produces a TopKit system that mounts to the rear of the trailer to improve airflow aft of the trailer. The company says this provides a 5.5% fuel savings and weighs just 72 lbs. For more info, visit www.SmartTruckSystems.com.
