LONGVIEW, Texas – STEMCO has finalized its acquisition of STEMCO Crewson LLC.

The company purchased the remaining interest from Tramec LLC. Originally, STEMCO Crewson was conceived as a joint venture between Tramec and STEMCO, with the goal of adding automatic brake adjusters to STEMCO’s line of brake products.

With the sale complete, STEMCO will now focus on developing brake products and markets. It will still offer automatic brake adjusters to the commercial market.

“This acquisition is a key element to the growth strategy of the business”, said Jim Reis, vice-president and general manager of STEMCO brake products. “We will continue to innovate and expand with unique offerings while continuing to provide industry leading brake certification training for the commercial vehicle market.”
