LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Thermo King has recently launched a new dealer locater and drop yard referral system, the company announced earlier today at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The new system allows customers to easily locate the nearest dealer to them, along with the facility’s hours of operation and contact information either on the Web site or via an Android or Apple app.

Setting the it apart from other similar dealer location applications is the drop yard referral feature.

The drop yard referral system provides users with information about a safe and secure location for drop off and pick up of waiting loads and trailers. They can also be used if drivers need to stop because of hours-of-service regulations.

The company claimed there are more than 2,250 dealer network stalls across the country, making finding a dealer close to you easier.

“You can drop your trailer off and go or you can stay connected to it while in the drop yard,” said Gayatri Abbott of Thermo King.

In addition, the company stressed the drop yards are available to any and every professional driver hauling goods, not just Thermo King customers or those with refrigerated trailers.

The company claims the application and Web site for the system is easy to use and download in the Google Play Store of Apple App Store.
