TROY, Mich. — TMD Friction has announced two key appointments to its senior management team.

Tony Croy has been promoted to the position of managing director, NAFTA. He’ll be in charge of TMD’s business in units in NAFTA, including all commercial, engineering and manufacturing operations serving TMD’s OE and replacement part friction business in Canada, the US and Mexico.

Previously, Croy oversaw TMD’s US production operations for automotive and commercial vehicles.

“I am pleased to announce the promotion of Tony Croy to managing director, TMD NAFTA,” said Greg Scheessele, senior vice-president, TMD Americas. “Tony brings extensive knowledge to this responsibility based on his previous experience as the managing director for the TMD plant in Queretaro, Mexico.”

TMD also named Fabio Jurchaks its new director of sales and engineering for NAFTA. He’ll oversee commercial, marketing and engineering organization activities.

Jurchaks has more than 13 years of experience in the heavy-duty and automotive industries, the company announced.

“Fabio brings a wealth of market and customer knowledge to this responsibility based on his previous experience,” said Scheessele.
