Truckers help fight fire

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Truckers did their part to fight a fire as they hauled away cardboard from Scotia Recycling Limited in Dartmouth that was ablaze.

Once permission was given by the city, trucks hauled the burned cardboard to the Otter Lake landfill. To assist the truckers in getting the cardboard ready for hauling firefighters used two excavators to break it up.

No one was hurt in the fire.
