ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Truxpo, Western Canada’s largest trucking and logistics show, will be held Sept. 19-20, 2014 at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford, the B.C. Trucking Association (BCTA) has announced.

This year, it will be sponsored by the other provincial trucking associations, from Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba. The Northern B.C. Truckers Association and Central Interior Logging Association have also signed on as sponsors.

“Their endorsement truly creates a Western Canadian event,” said Greg Munden, chair of the BCTA and president of Munden Ventures.

The event will once again be hosted by the BCTA in partnership with Master Promotions.

Organizers say this year’s show will include a conference program. Sessions are being designed to appeal to industry professionals from the western provinces, and will be timely, informative and full of relevant industry information. A detailed program will be released soon, organizers say.

Other highlights will include a show’n’shine, multicultural events and a driver appreciation day. There’ll also be a recruiting feature. More info is available at www.truxpo.com.
