ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Truxpo organizers say they expect big things from this year’s event, having brought the Pacific Heavy Equipment Show to the Tradex complex.

The two shows are expected to draw thousands of visitors Sept. 19-20.

“We are excited to bepairing these two events for the first time,” said Mark Cusack, national show manager. “It’s a natural fit to combine the trucking and construction industries. There’s a lot of crossover in terms of both exhibitors and audience. Whether you are talking about a small vocational operation or large roadbuilding contractor, you will find trucks, trailers and heavy equipment. This is exactly whatyou will see in September.”

Truxpo is Western Canada’s largest trucking and logistics show. This year it will cover the entire Tradex complex plus 80,000 sq.-ft. outdoors.

This year’s show will feature: a conference program with educational sessions; an industry luncheon with a keynote speaker; a multicultural focus with special entertainment and ethnic and Canadian food; a focus on driver recruitment; and a show’n’shine.

The Pacific Heavy Equipment Show will occupy three acres of outdoor and tented space. It will feature a Demo Zone where visitors can test the equipment on-site. For more info, visit www.truxpo.com or www.pacificequipmentshow.com.
