BURLINGTON, Ont. — The list of carriers joining the Driver Recruiting Event is growing.

Trimac and Spring Creek Carriers are the latest companies to commit to participating.

“With our new business opportunities, we have positions available for AZ drivers and owner/operators in various locations,” said Chad Boehmer, recruiting manager at Trimac in a release. “We offer long haul, regional, short haul, and local bulk deliveries with great, competitive pay packages. We also have signing bonuses, so ask us for details!”

Trimac is a preferred partner at KRTS Transportation Specialists.

Spring Creek Carriers is one of KRTS’ preferred carriers; the company hauls dry freight locally and long haul.

“We are excited to be a part of this event as it has become very apparent that different carriers require a different type of driver,” said Calvin Bergman, COO & managing partner of Spring Creek. “We aren’t looking for tanker, FLD, or flatbed drivers. This event seems to understand that as carriers we should be able to refer a potential driver candidate to our peers if he/she just doesn’t fit the role we are looking to fill. Bums in the seat is a thing of the past. We need high performers suited to specific applications to remain profitable.”

President of the KRTS, Kim Richardson, says she is pleased with all the participants and interest expressed for the event and is glad that every sector of the industry is represented.

“All of the carriers participating have a reputation of doing things right and offering their drivers and owner operators excellent compensation packages,” said Richardson. “We have a great event sponsor in TRIP Insurance o/b Pearson Dunn Insurance and Driverlink.com has jumped in as an event supporter giving us excellent traction in the driving community. Our team has put together a superb marketing campaign. We are confident there will be a strong turnout of new and existing professional drivers and owner/operators attending.”

The event is June 7 at the Burlington Holiday Inn from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and is open to all current AZ/DZ drivers and owner/operators.
