UPS Canada opens new centres in B.C.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – In order to expand its operations in Canada and support new jobs, UPS announced today that will be opening three new centres in British Columbia – one is Kamloops, another in Nanaimo and one in Comox.

UPS Canada also said it will expanding its centre in Kelowna, B.C.

The expansion and opening of these four centres represents a multi-million dollar investment that will provide approximately 80 UPS jobs.

“Expanding our service in BC and across Canada is fueled by market opportunity and customer demand,”said UPS Canada president Michael Tierney. “UPS continues to invest in new capabilities and network capacity to secure customers’ confidence and enable their long-term growth.”

The planned expansions are expected to be complete by November of this year.
