MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Manitoulin Transport has southeastern Ontario covered, now providing direct service to all towns and cities via three terminals in Cornwall, Peterborough and Kingston.

“When our customers entrust Manitoulin with their goods and packages, they deserve excellent service every step of the way,” said Jeff L. King, president of Manitoulin Transport. “By providing direct service throughout southeastern Ontario, we can better ensure that customers in the region consistently receive the kind of high-quality experience they associate with Manitoulin Transport which they have come to expect and count on.”

Manitoulin said the direct service would provide faster transit times and increase shipment visibility for its customers.

“Having a reliable transportation provider can be a critical success factor for many businesses,” said King. “As we continually expand our network and coverage, our aim is to be a true business partner to our customers – one that nurtures their success, not simply by providing exemplary transportation solutions and customer service – but by constantly working to identify new and better ways to serve them and help them grow.”

Don Goodwill, president of Manitoulin Group of Companies, said the three terminals in southeastern Ontario further solidifies the company as the transportation provider with the widest coverage in the province and Canada as a whole.

“Further, our network of terminals serves as a gateway to other supply chain solutions that may be required, such as customs brokerage, international freight forwarding, warehousing, logistics, crating, global time critical service and supply chain management,” said Goodwill. “As business is getting increasingly competitive for our customers, we use our resources, expertise and various services to provide them with a competitive advantage that helps them stand out in their respective industry.”
