GREENSBORO, N.C. — Mack has announced the availability of its GuardDog Connect uptime support on concrete pumpers.

The offering will be standard on Mack TerraPro concrete pumpers ordered as of April, marking the first proactive support service available for pumper applications, according to the company.

Also unique to the industry is specialized bodybuilder support.

GuardDog Connect maximizes uptime by streamlining servicing needs. It combines Mack’s OneCall 24/7 customer support service agents with technical and dealership experts with specialized bodybuilder knowledge. The telematics platform remotely monitors fault codes that could lead to truck downtime and then provides a quick diagnosis of issues, proactive scheduling for repairs and confirmation that needed parts are in stock and ready to install – all while the truck is still on the job.

“This is just another example of how we at Mack remain committed to Uptime,” said Stephen Roy, president of Mack North American Sales and Marketing. “As soon as a critical fault code is detected, the body builder support team is on the case, making the communication proactive, seamless and comprehensive.”
