Sudbury home to Ontario’s worst road
SUDBURY, Ont. – The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) released results of its popular driver survey, ranking Ontario’s worst roads.
According to respondents, Sudbury’s Vermillion Lake Road earned the dubious distinction this year of being the worst road in the province.
The Sudbury area was home to four of the top 10 worst roads this year.
The top 10 worst roads, in order, were: Vermillion Lake Rd., Sudbury; Bradley Ave., London; Lansing Ave., Sudbury; Cardwell St., Township of Assiginack; Steeles Ave., Toronto/York Region; Lime-bank Rd., Ottawa; Princess St., Kingston; Bancroft Dr., Sudbury; Bathurst St., Toronto; and Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury.

Maley Dr. Is the worst road in Sudbury by far hands down! The road is in such bad shape you must drive in the centre of it. The city probably patches what’s left of it 20 times a season easily which is just a temporary band-aid. It’s a busy enough thoroughfare so if you have on coming traffic you’re forced to drive the decayed portion and slam into tire chomping potholes!

North side of crescent is much worse. My car bottom out there. Need to weeve around all the huge sink holes! They need to fill in the craters every year and have a hazard sign on the road also. Hope something gets done this year!
