Two-day safety blitz for heavy trucks in Ontario underway
TORONTO, Ont. — Police and government agencies are conducting a two-day safety blitz, targeting heavy trucks on Ontario’s roads, according to a report on CP24.com.
Full safety inspections are being conducted on big trucks, from tractor-trailers to tow trucks, and background checks are being conducted on their drivers on roads and highways in the Greater Toronto Area today and tomorrow, according to the report.
Officers are looking for unsafe vehicles, aggressive or fatigued drivers, insecure loads and contraband cargo.
The operation, dubbed Project Spring Cleanup, will be based out of Woodbine racetrack.
In addition to Toronto police, officers from the OPP, Peel, York, Halton, Guelph and Waterloo are involved in the operation, along with the provincial ministries of transportation, environment and revenue, and the City of Toronto bylaw office.

we are having a road safety blitz my what a croak looking for contraband looking for untaxed fuels By the way in a free society we should be the ones that pass laws But never in my life did i ever get a say on being taxed we own the fuel coming out of the ground the government takes our royalties from the oil companies then give it all back to them in corporate welfare then they tax us and criminalize us who find ways to also cheat like them All gas tax should be payed at the well head as all other taxes should be taken the moment money is created rather than passing this fake or fiat money or fake POWER to bankers The full reason we are taxed at instead is to create and grow a prison system based on our guilt and watched by legislators judges police and best of all fellow prisoners who who mentally ejaculate over the possibility of snitching on their neighbor to make him pay syked to do this by the teachers of the corporate gospel the news media This blitz is the same as the original Hitler blitz used to humiliate and break the spirit of people dealing with the biggest depression ever purposely created by the gods of commerce BANKERS to consolidate their power This is what is going to become a daily insult into the lives of all of us
