AKRON, Ohio — The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announces that Pilot Travel Centers LLC, with the largest truck stop network in North America, has signed an agreement to begin stocking and selling Goodyear truck tires at its travel centers.

Officials of Goodyear and Pilot recently signed the agreement, and Goodyear is beginning the shipment of its products to Pilot.

“Being selected by Pilot Travel Centers as another venue for our products is a great plus for Goodyear, and for the truck drivers who seek a Goodyear tire when they are out on the road,” said Steve McClellan,
Goodyear’s vice president of commercial tire systems. “This is another piece of the puzzle for fleets looking for Goodyear tires, especially in an emergency situation. In addition to the extensive Goodyear commercial dealer network, in the future, a truck driver will have the option to pull into a Pilot outlet and find a replacement Goodyear truck tire."

Pilot Travel Centers is a leading interstate retailer, operating 260 travel centers coast-to-coast, and providing outstanding value and service at attractive and convenient locations. Goodyear will supply a variety of truck tires for Pilot’s store network, including the G395 LHS steer tire.
