Celadon continues to refinance, replace personnel
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Embattled Celadon Group is adding more changes in its efforts to refocus amid an investigation by the Secuurities and Exchange Commission in the United States. The group made tow announcements last week including the appointment of Vincent Donargo as the new vice president and Chief Accounting Officer, effective Nov. 30. Celadon said Donargo brings with him over 30 years of accounting and financial leadership experience, including serving as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Beaulieu Group, a North American carpet and flooring manufacturing company, before taking on his new position.
Celadon receives filing deadline extension
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Celadon Group is over a year behind on filling its quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The group announced that it has received an extension from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), subject to review on an on-going basis, that allows the company to take until May 2, 2018 to file the documents with the SEC.



Hyndman opens new Ayr terminal, closes Kitchener
WROXETER, ON - Hyndman Transport, a subsidiary of Celadon Group, is settling into a new terminal in Ayr, Ontario. Located at 2616 Cedar Creek Road, just off highways 401 and 97 at Exit 268, the facility features a new driver lounge, dorm rooms, and an expanded maintenance facility with wash bay and loading dock. The site will also serve as a base of operations for recruiting and orientation, and includes administration space as well.


Fleet Agrees to Settlement in Driver Discrimination Case
INDIANAPOLIS - A provider of cross-border trucking, Celadon Trucking Services Inc., has agreed to an out of court settlement paying $200,000 over a driver disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
